Dear Chochmat Halev Supporter,

We are in the middle of our spring Raise the Dough fundraiser! Our goal is $50,000 to keep our full array of offerings strong.

We began during Passover, asking for leaven to help us raise the dough. Now, we are climbing the mountain to campaign's end by May 14, which is Shavuot. Shavuot is when Moses reached the mountaintop.

If Chochmat brings you to the mountaintop, help us get there too: make a donation today.

Did you know membership dues cover just 49% of our budget? Each year we fundraise to help cover the rest. Your donation today makes a difference!  See a list of our generous Passover Donors here.

YES!  I want to contribute to Chochmat HaLev

Our community depends on the support of its generous donors.  Do you have a simcha (joyous occasion) to celebrate? A loved one's Yahrzeit (anniversary of a death) to honor?  A donation to Chochmat helps strengthen our community and fulfill the mitzvah of Tzedakah (generosity).  Thank you!

Yizkor (Memorial) Tree

Throughout the year, our beautiful handmade Yizkor tree stands in our sanctuary to honor loved ones who have died.  You may purchase a leaf for the  tree to honor the memory of your loved one for $18.00 per name using the PayPal form below.  Leaves will remain on the tree through Yom Kippur 2013/5774.

Our High Holy Day prayerbooks (mahzorim) can also be dedicated in honor a loved one or to celebrate a simcha, or to recognize someone in the community or in your life who you wish to honor.  Dedications are $18.00 per book using the PayPal form below. Thank you for your generosity in supporting our community.

Purchase Yikzkor leaves and prayer book dedications here.  Add the names of those you are remembering,  one name per leaf, or the reason for the dedication, one per book.

Tradition

The Jewish Tradition is steeped in teachings of generosity.  Your gift to Chochmat HaLev allows you to become part of that tradition.  Your contribution will support those who have found a home at Chochmat, those who have not yet discovered us, and the generations yet to come.  Read Rabbi SaraLeya's teaching from the Talmud, the Zohar and the Psalms about ceilings, holiness, and generosity.  Read other generosity teachings from our tradition here.

Our tradition gives us many excuses to donate to causes and institutions we love and value.  Have a birthday, graduation, wedding or other simcha to celebrate? Honoring a loved one during their Yahrtzeit? Feeling gratitude for Shabbat or a Jewish holiday?  All of these occasions can be marked with Tzedakah (charitable giving).  Support your Jewish community today with a gift to Chochmat HaLev.

Thank you for your Generosity
Chochmat HaLev could not exist without your generosity. The Chochmat HaLev Board of Directors, spiritual leaders, staff and members are committed to ensuring that Chochmat HaLev is a sustainable, vibrant and thriving Community.  But we cannot do it without you!

There are many ways to help support our holy community financially.  Please help Chochmat remain vibrant.  Please donate today.
